When things aren't easy you may be like me and assume it will always be hard.
Even if it something you know you really need such as making that doctor's appointment, taking a stretch break, rebooting your brain, caring for your slumped shoulders, achy back, and stiff neck.
I use to feel guilty about taking time for myself because I felt if I wasn't working really hard, I wouldn't be successful. My breast cancer diagnosis changed all of that for me and now I do feel ease with taking time for me. It is not EASY, but it takes way less effort now than it did before. I also have a different relationship with my health and I know taking breaks, and blocking off time for myself is the most important thing I can do for me.
I hear from so many people that it is really hard for them to take time for themselves as well. Since I was there at one point in my life, I completely get it.
